New River Gorge Bridge Day is the biggest single-day adventure festival in America! Every year, on the third Saturday of October, the sleepy burg of Fayetteville becomes the largest city in the state as BASE jumpers and spectators gather to watch the excitement and stroll the closed route 19 for shopping and food vendors. This is an incredible day with lorts to see and do—and admission is free. Ask about where to park or to catch a shuttle to the event.
